Chi Chi Glamorous Eye Palette: Spices

I’ve had this palette for a year now and I’ve recently been using it more than ever. I’ve fallen in love with all of the warm burgundy, orangey, bronzey tones that this palette is made up of.

The palette comes with 12 pans of eyeshadow, 8 of which are shimmery and 4 matte. I’d normally like there to be more matte shadows, however I think the colours that they’ve chosen to be matte are the most ideal ones. Unfortunately this palette doesn’t comes with a mirror which could be an issue for some people, but I personally don’t really care seeing as I have so many mirrors in my room and in other palettes.

These eyeshadows are so buttery and pigmented, especially considering that they’re a drugstore product. There’s a great range of shades that can be used to create lots of warm toned eye looks whether it be a dark smokey eye, a fun copper eye or something super simple for every day. I also think that this palette will suit pretty much any eye colour as all warm tones go perfectly with brown, orange is a beautiful contrast with green, and the pinks compliment and bring out the colour of blue eyes.

Chi Chi have 22 palettes in their Glamorous Eye Palette collection, so if this isn’t the one for you, I’m sure there’s another one that you’d like. These palettes are so affordable at $22.95AUD which is great value. Chi Chi products would definitely be ideal for someone who’s just starting out a makeup collection. For those who have an already established collection, their palettes are great to pick up some unusual colours that you may not already have from any high-end palettes, that you don’t want to spend too much money on. I also think this is a great dupe for the Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Palette. Obviously it hasn’t got all of the same colours and the quality may not be as good, but if these are the colours you’re after, and you don’t wish to splurge, this is a great option.

An eyeshadow look I created using this palette.

You can buy Chi Chi products from their website, Myer or Target.
