The ultimate “no-makeup” makeup

I come across so many tutorials of “no makeup” makeup looks in my time that consist of 20 steps and 30 minutes of your time that i thought I’d create my own. Thus, i bring to you a 5-minute, 9 (simple) step, easy, everyday makeup look using these products (and a couple more) shown below. 15218684_1343895398976839_117445613_n

Step 1: Moisturise and then prime your face.
You can use which ever moisturiser and primer that you have been enjoying lately, but today i used the Revlon photoready perfecting primer and rubbed this in with my fingers all over my face. This not only creates an ideal surface to apply more makeup, but also creates a protective layer for your skin from any dirt and grime throughout the day.

Step 2: Conceal.
I used the Rimmel wake me up concealer in “ivory” in a “V” shape under my eyes, down my nose, on my chin and across any redness on my cheeks. I then blended it in with my Real Techniques “miracle complexion” sponge.

Step 3: Set concealer.
I used my Australis Banana Powder, with my Real Techniques duo fibre setting brush to set everywhere that i had put the concealer. I cannot begin to explain how much i love this powder for setting concealer, brightening my face and cleaning up the lines of my contour. If you don’t already own this I highly recommend purchasing it.

Step 4: Bronze
The Body Shop baked to last bronzers give the most beautiful natural glow to the face, especially when wearing minimal makeup. I have the shade “warm glow” and with my Sigma duo fibre F50 brush, i swept this across my cheeks, forehead and jaw line. I then used my Sigma “tapered blending E40″brush to blend this colour into the crease of my eye to give it some dimension.

Step 5: Brows
My go-to brow product recently has been the Maybelline master brow pro palette in the shade “deep brown”. I use the brush that it comes with to blend the powder through my eyebrows and I use the highlight shade to highlight on my brow bone with my finger. To keep that all in place i then go in with my M.A.C brow set in the shade “Beguile” and run this through my brows.

Step 6: Mascara
My day-to-day mascara recently has been the Nyx Stacked lush lashes mascara. I find that it doesn’t clump up my lashes at all and makes them look thicker and longer.

Step 7: Blush
My favourite blush recently has been the Tarte amazonian clay 12-hour blush in the shade “glisten”. It reminds me of the Nars blush in “Orgasm” as it has a subtle gold shimmer throughout it. I applied this onto the apples of my cheeks with my Sigma F40 brush.

Step 8: Highlight
My go-to daily highlighter has been the Sleek Solstice Palette and today i used the shade “Equinox”. I used my same Real Techniques Setting Brush to dust this onto the high points of my cheek bones.

Step 9: Lips
Lastly, I usually use my lush “honey trap” lip balm as the only product on my lips, but if i feel like dressing it up at all, I’ll usually add my Nyx Lip Lingerie in the shade “push up” or “ruffle trim” depending on what i feel like.
